As widely reported in the media, customers to Starbucks and McDonald's Stansted Airport are being issued parking charges when using the shared car parking facilities. 

MET parking services issues £100 parking charges to customers of both Starbucks and McDonald's when individuals park in a bay designated to one company and then use the facilities of the other, despite the premises being directly adjacent to one another and no clear delineations between the sites.

We believe that the terms and conditions of the car park are leading to unnecessary hardship for customers and we call for Starbucks and McDonald's to take responsibility for this issue by working with MET parking services to change the terms and conditions of this car park.
