I have dreamt of attending Star Wars Celebration for years, like hundreds - thousands - of other individuals. I could not attend SWC Japan due to it being extremely far from my home (California), so I waited. I knew that it would be back again soon. Fast-forward to recently. SWC LA! Amazing! I waited in line for tickets. For 5 hours. I slowly see the horrible posts and messages from my friends "Completely sold out after 4 hours". "You're allowed to purchase 20 passes PER PERSON - you KNOW these are getting scalped." Me and thousands of other fans are infuriated. How could you let this event - an event FOR fans - be botted, and passes to be given to scalpers where the basic 4 day pass will be going for double, triple, quadruple the price of the original pass. I say we should start this petition to have Star Wars Celebration and Disney review the passes bought - how many are truly going to real people? And how many are just going to rot in the hands of scalpers, who are just looking for a quick cash grab. . .
