Hello and thank you to the nearly 1500 who have signed in the last few days! It is amazing to have such broad support, and it encourages me about our prospects of success. It's also encouraging that great scientists like Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Vinay Prasad, among many others, have spoken up in support of this petition. Most of all, thank you to everyone who has signed and shared the cause!

We plan on delivering the petition in-person today, Tuesday January 18th, to President Tessier-Lavigne and Provost Drell. If you are a Stanford student, faculty member, or affiliate, please join us! Details are here, accessible to @stanford.edu accounts.

After we deliver the petition, a press release will be issued to local news organizations as we await a response from Stanford administration.
