As some of you may know from the other page,we, the concerned citizens and proud 2nd ammendment supporters are gathering together to get our county (Lincoln) to be a 2a sanctuary! A 2a sanctuary is a 2nd Amendment sanctuary also known as a gun sanctuary. This refers to resolutions adopted by jurisdictions in the US to not expend resources to enforce certain gun control measures perceived as violative of the 2nd Amendment. 

For example the Red Flag Law! In the United States, a red flag law is a gun control law that permits police or family members to petition a state court to order a temporary removal of firearms from a person who may present a danger to themselves or others. A judge makes the determination to issue the order based on statements and actions made by the gun owner in question. Refusal to comply with the order is punishable as a criminal offense. After a set time the guns are returned to the person from whom they were received unless another court hearing extends the period of confiscation.

Henry James has offered his time to be the Lincoln County Rep! Therefore he will be contacting officials and completing other duties to get this ball rolling.
