Standing Up to Big Banks
Standing Up to Big Banks
The Issue
Occupy Wall Street is assembled. We share a common frustration with big banks, and how we have been mistreated by them. My heart is so warmed to see the American Spirit, and how we have come together to say, We have had enough. I feel the next step, is to take action.
It’s time to collaborate on an effort, to really grab big banks attention. To make them realize, we were their backbone, and we have been mistreated.
We have to notify big banks, that the people are taking a stand. Big Bankers need to see how many of their accounts are being closed and switched to local banks and credit unions. And they need to be made aware of who is closing the accounts.
That’s what BankCrushers.com and your signature on this petition is all about. It’s time to collaborate on an effort, to really grab big banks attention. To make them realize, that its the customers that count, not the stock holders and board members!
The Big Banks will try to keep you. You have to realize, in order for this to work, you have to close the account, remove your money or keep as little in it as possible.
Competition is a good thing, and this will create jobs. This will empower your local bank/credit union to have a need for more help, with the increased accounts.
The Smaller Banks and Credit Unions don’t have the bonuses, and lavish things that the big banks have but small bank will know you by name when you walk in. They are willing to bend over backwards to give you a great service.
If you cannot close your big bank account, run it close to zero, and open up another account with a small bank or credit union.
Credit Unions are non profits, so they are going to be the least susceptible to corruption.
Many Banks have on line account applications, and you can fund them with a debit card in under 20 minutes.
If account closings at big banks picks up momentum, big banks will panic.
Let’s Move On To Action.
Sign the document if you have proceeded to take action towards improving the local banker, not the Big Banker!
