We have been pressing forward, fighting this fight from every angle possible while not ever giving up (failure is not an option). We understand out of sight is out of mind… But when you lose someone you love, it’s not that simple and when someone is taken from you you never forget them. We visit as often as possible since him being on lockdown for 1 month straight. He is not allowed commissary - only electrolytes and water with multiple peanut butter sandwiches daily (those are stacked on a shelf in his cell, you can only eat so much). He went outside for 30 minutes last week, for the first time in months. (He was emotional). He saw an officer on a horse and knows my goal is to own 4, he saw inmates working in the field and thought how free they must feel, because he couldn’t. Now back to his cell, just appreciating what he now has… He’s not dead and his faith is strong that he will come out on the other side TEN TOES DOWN. One day soon, he will be home. Please share.
