As a YouTube creator that covers the missing, it has become increasingly apparent that our AMBER ALERT system is broken.  We know that AMBER ALERTS work because,  statistically speaking, when an alert is issued the child is found in 24 to 48 hours.  The issue at hand is the rules and regulations regarding which children get an alert and which do not qualify varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.  Also too many children are left voiceless without any alert.  What I am proposing is that any time a child 18 or younger goes missing, an alert with the child's age, description, last known location ect goes out.  This is for all missing children including runaways whose cases are far too often not taken seriously by law enforcement.  This would be a standard protocol across all cities in the 50 United States.  It is time that all children get a voice.
