The Issue

Recent United Nations reports from leading science experts have made it clear that climate change is not a far-off problem. It is happening now, and it is having devastating impacts on people’s lives. The climate crisis is disrupting our environments, societies, and economies – and if we don’t act, the risks will only grow.

The good news is that we have the solutions to tackle climate change – we just need the will to act.

Before coming to Change.org, I worked as a Strategist at Big Duck, which is a communications firm that works exclusively with nonprofits. Prior to that, I ran the Digital Engagement Department at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). I graduated from Fordham University and while I’ve lived in New York for over a decade now, I grew up all over the world as an Army brat. When I’m not geeking out over online engagement and social media for nonprofits, I am either taking a yoga class, cooking up something exotic, or running the Central Park loop.
