Domestic and family violence is one of the main reasons people experience homelessness

In Australia one in 7 people experiencing homelessness are over 55 years

Out of those seeking homelessness services (Homelessness Australia Fact sheet 2023)

Fifty two percent have issues with housing or finances such as rental affordability, cost of living etc

Twenty eight percent cite family or other violence abuse as reason they need help

Five percent cite other family relationship issues 

Fifteen percent cite other issues

This is not Good enough! What is broken must be fixed!!
