Hi, 

Some of the Sand Wash wild horses that were taken for gather in September 2021 are currently at the Canon city horse facility where there was an equine flu outbreak and over 140 horses died. Unfortunately, this outbreak has delayed adoption the Sand Wash Basin horses that are located at this facility. BLM Colorado is having a live meeting to discuss the Canon city horse facility and give an up update. You can sign up for the zoom meeting by search engine BLM Colorado live meeting June 15, 2022. If you cannot attend the meeting there is an opportunity to ask questions and maybe I could gently suggest support this petition.
