Stand with aldo, stop the deportation.

The Issue

My brother, Aldo is currently held in a detention center right here in FL and is facing imminent deportation. As someone who knows him best, I want to emphasize that Aldo is not just my brother; he is a caring individual who contributes positively to the community and has touched many lives with his kindness and dedication. This potential deportation will tear our family apart and inflict irreversible emotional damage.

Aldo has been here since he was 4 years old. He is now 30 years old. He has family here, pays taxes, goes to work, has friends here. US is the only place he knows. After losing our dad to cancer in October of 2024 - he now only has sister and his mother who lives here as well. Leaving them would mean devastation and a huge loss.

The threat of deportation not only affects Aldo but also impacts the entire community and family, including myself. It is not only an assault on family unity but also sets a precedent that could impact many others in similar situations. His removal will put a significant emotional and economic stress on our family, as Aldo provides critical support, both financially and emotionally.

Legal proceedings and immigration policies should be humane and consider personal circumstances. We need to recognize Aldo's strong community ties and moral character, and understand the devastating effects that deportation can incur on families and communities.

I urge you to help request an immediate stay of removal for Aldo Perkeci. By signing this petition, you stand with us in seeking justice and humanity, helping prevent this unjust action. Your support can make a real difference in Aldo's life and the lives of everyone who loves him. Sign today to keep families together in Jacksonville.
