Stand with Akron Public Schools teachers, staff, students, and parents. 

Christine Fowler Mack has been the topic of community, and board discussions since her hiring 18 plus months ago. Since then she has continually neglected her duties as a District Superintendent. Mack, was already in heavy discussion amongst board and school teachers prior to the beginning of the school year based on her overall first year performance. Since, an APS student, Ethan Liming was brutally beat to death, a IPS principal smacked one of her students, there’s been numerous fights, and stabbings at schools across the district and the teachers, staff, and parents have had enough. These are our kids, students, it’s their future we’re standing up for folks.

Akron ranks #587 of #607 public schools, another note to make Mack’s former district is one of the districts actually below APS. The communities question should be why did we bring this lady in? She was already destroying Cleveland City Schools, and now she is being allowed to not only destroy our children’s education but is endangering the entire staff and student body at APS. The violence is at an all time high and she does nothing but make excuses, further making the issue more difficult to fix. 

In conclusion, Mack already lost the support of her staff prior to the school year beginning, and unfortunately it’s taken an even more downward spiral. Christine, we ask for the Safety of our Students, Staff, and Visitors you resign immediately. We then have community input and involvement before we allow these folks to insert another incapable Superintendent destroying our district. Please, again stand up for these teachers. We must have a Change, immediately!
