Access to parks should be a fundamental right and not a privilege. Unfortunately, in Prince George's County, the amount of entertainment that can take place in public parks is severely limited. This means that our communities are unable to fellowship together and increase community engagement, which is essential for healthy societies.

If we are able to use our parks more freely and with greater access, it will create the perfect opportunity for our communities to come together and build stronger connections. We need leaders who will recognize this need and take action by loosening the restrictions on park access so that we can gain the benefits of increased community engagement through gatherings at local parks.

We believe that access to our parks should be improved so that we can better engage with each other in our communities. By allowing more entertainment events, we can make use of our parks as places for fellowship and build stronger relationships within the community. It is essential that Prince George's County recognizes this need and works towards making sure that all community members have access to these spaces for gathering and recreation.
