For years, politicians and bureaucrats have promised us they would fix our Water Shortages. For the last four years, we’ve been told one new well will solve our problems. But even after going millions of dollars over budget, it is still not operating and SCRD staff admit it won’t solve our problems! We will have severe restrictions in 2023, lose more crops and landscaping, probably have to boil our water before drinking and probably run out of drinking water, all due to the lack of decisive action by elected officials and SCRD staff.

Enough is enough…our water fees have increased again, this year by over 25%. Yet we are getting nothing more.

By signing this petition, we are telling the SCRD that we will refuse to pay our water fees until they solve our water shortage!
