Greetings Supporters! Today we received an update from Judge Rael's Office letting us know that the court hearing scheduled for November 6th has been canceled and moved to December 4th. There have been more motions and answers filed since the last update. In one of the e-mails we got from the Plaintiff's lawyer, they indicated that they had no idea about the "November 4th hearing" and filed that information, with the incorrect hearing date, to the court. This information is accessible to everyone, including the public, and when we chose to represent ourselves in this civil matter the court information says even we are responsible for checking the New Mexico Court website for updates on the case. We've also been informed that one of our witnesses has been threatened by the Plaintiff, which is completely unacceptable. This is the third time someone who is associated with this hate group in Cibola County has tried to intimidate or threaten someone who told us they were willing to testify to the truth on our behalf. This is witness tampering. Additionally, Santa Rita Land and Cattle Company LLC is now asking that we pay rent in the same full amount of the mortgage in the canceled real estate contract, for staying on the property after they tried to remove us from the property without a court order. And after they denied our payment that would have allowed us to keep the property and after they've ignored our requests to buy back the properties with a new contract! So they won't take our money to allow us to stay on the land but now they want to take our money for staying on the land?! Ridiculous! And further goes to show that Santa Rita Land and Cattle Company has conspired with this hate group to remove us from the property and take our land from us, just like their e-mail said during the time we were arrested in March 2018 over false reports filed against us. 

These are all more signs of corruption, racial discrimination and religious discrimination in business and real estate within Cibola County, New Mexico. And we are asking that everyone who has already signed this petition continue to help us gain more exposure by sharing and e-mailing the link to our petition. We know we are not the first to be treated this way in Cibola County or New Mexico but we want to be a part of the solution, we want to ensure that Judge Rael has heard our voices of contest and outrage at the treatment we're receiving just for wanting to stay on the property. All we've ever wanted to do was live on some rural land, revive the ecosystem, the water table, the wildlife, and establish a community learning center to help people learn to grow their own food in this unique climate. The entire time we've been here we've been stalked, slandered, harassed, and treated horribly by people from this hate group and the only difference between us and them is our skin color and our religious beliefs that are displayed physically as "dreadlocks".  We're asking that YOU help us spread the word about this mistreatment and help us set a positive precedent in the State of New Mexico for people of color, people who are different and unique to feel safe and comfortable establishing themselves in New Mexico or visiting. No person should feel unsafe because of the color of their skin or their difference in religious beliefs. We ask that you help us spread that message!
