The Issue

Parents across the nation express their deep concern regarding what they perceive as a distressing trend of legal interventions that seem akin to kidnapping.

The issue extends its reach to families from various backgrounds, with a particularly unsettling contrast in the experiences of minority families.

This matter assumes paramount significance in light of ongoing deliberations on child protection service reform bills. It underscores the imperative to safeguard the constitutional rights of parents in the face of these developments.

In the heartbreaking realm of Child Protection Services (CPS), the very laws designed by the legislature to protect families are callously overlooked. Even when these laws are brought to their attention, CPS resorts to a heartbreaking repertoire of fabricating evidence and deceit, carrying out their illicit endeavors with an audacious arrogance, seemingly impervious to the fear of consequences.

Unless you've personally weathered the storm of being singled out by Child Protection Services, the depths of pain, grief, financial ruin, helplessness, and the crushing weight of depression inflicted by the unwarranted removal of your children are unimaginable.

This harrowing ordeal, laden with the absence of due process, unfolds as a nightmarish saga, echoing across the vast expanse of the United States.

CALL TO ACTION: Demand Reform of Child Protection Services for Fair and Just Practices

Attention concerned families and parents! We must unite and call for a crucial reform of the child protection services to address the unjust practices that undermine our rights and tear families apart.

This government service provider has employed techniques that make innocent parents feel like they have something to hide or that they are engaging in criminal activities. It is time to put an end to this!

Extensive research reveals alarming patterns suggesting that this program was established as a racially motivated system.

Families of color and those of Hispanic backgrounds have disproportionately suffered from false claims and reports, enduring unnecessary hardships and anguish. We cannot allow this systemic bias to continue!

Our collective voice must demand immediate action and change. Here's what we can strive for together:

Accountability and Transparency: Child protection services must be held accountable for their actions. We demand a transparent system that fosters trust and ensures fair treatment for all families, regardless of their background.

A DHS department employee, which includes but is not limited to a supervisor, case worker, or Guardian Ad Litem may not knowingly do any of the following in regard to the employee's official duties on a matter before the

department or the juvenile court pursuant to this chapter to influence the outcome of the matter:

1.  Lie about the matter.

2. Withhold material information in regard to the matter.

3. Fabricate evidence.

An employee who violates this section is guilty of a class 6 Felony.

No Immunity For Lying; Employee misconduct; violation; classification

2️⃣ Non-Biased and Proper Training: It is essential that child protection workers receive comprehensive training to eliminate bias from their practices. By promoting diversity and inclusion within the workforce, we can ensure fair assessments and prevent baseless separation of families.

Strengthening Legal Safeguards: We urge lawmakers to review and enhance legal safeguards in child protection cases. These safeguards should protect the rights of families and prevent unnecessary re-openings of cases based on biased judgments or resistance shown by innocent parents.

In a bid to instill transparency and safeguard the rights of families involved with Child Protection Services (CPS), this legislation bill proposes the appointment of an independent citizen agency.

This agency will hold the crucial responsibility of overseeing CPS case loads, ensuring impartiality in assessing facts, interventions, and parent interactions.

Moreover, it will expedite the provision of immediate resources, ranging from housing assistance to supportive living arrangements for families grappling with enduring health challenges.

Courts are mandated to meticulously consider any findings of bias or fabrication in case files, wielding the power to overturn wrongful removals of children when presented with substantial evidence.

In the pursuit of justice, families wrongfully harmed by CPS through deception and intimidation, resulting in civil rights violations, shall be entitled to automatic compensation of $18,000 to redress the damages inflicted upon them. 46% of the compensation shall be paid by department employee responsible for said wrongful claims and or negligence actions resulting to department financial losses.

This legislative initiative aims to fortify accountability, fairness, and the well-being of families navigating the complex terrain of Child Protection Services.

In a commitment to upholding the integrity of Child Protection Services (CPS) and preventing the misuse of reporting mechanisms, this legislation bill introduces a comprehensive clause targeting medical professionals who engage in the submission of false cases driven by bias, discrimination, fabrication, or unwarranted exaggeration of evidence.

To ensure transparency and accountability, healthcare institutions are mandated to implement mandatory tracking of reported cases, including data on race, ethnicity, and gender.

This information shall be submitted to an independent civilian agency tasked with overseeing CPS matters.

In the event that health workers, including nurses, doctors, and physicians, are found guilty of reporting false CPS cases, they shall face a charge of a 6th class felony, accompanied by a substantial fine of $35,000 in restitution.

This measure aims to deter the submission of inaccurate reports and foster a system where the sanctity of CPS investigations is preserved, safeguarding families from unjust intervention.

Fortify the impartiality and independence of the Civilian Agency: entrusted with overseeing Child Protection Services (CPS), this legislation bill introduces a meticulous clause. The agency will be comprised exclusively of individuals who have no current or former affiliation with state or county offices, the Department of Children and Families, or Children Protection Services.

Furthermore, individuals who are current or former employees of law enforcement agencies, as well as their direct family members, are precluded from serving on this agency.

To mitigate potential conflicts of interest, the bill extends its scope to exclude individuals with any direct affiliations or relationships that might compromise the agency's objectivity.

Even former judges are barred from serving on this Civilian Agency to ensure an unblemished commitment to impartial oversight. This measure aims to establish a robust, unbiased framework for the agency, assuring the public that its primary allegiance lies in safeguarding the rights and well-being of families involved with CPS.

In an unwavering commitment to justice and fairness within the legal system.

This legislation bill introduces a comprehensive clause addressing conflict of interests in court proceedings involving Child Protection Services (CPS).

Judges and courts are explicitly prohibited from colluding or partnering to ensnare parents through deceptive means, coercing them into false, frivolous, or fraudulent admissions under oath.

The bill mandates that courts conduct thorough and factually accurate investigations, ensuring that legal proceedings are grounded in truth.

Moreover, courts must approach issues with a commitment to fair resolution, taking into consideration the holistic well-being of families, including their health and any relevant circumstances.

Violation of this statute carries severe consequences, including stiff penalties and fines of up to $50,000, along with the potential classification as a class 6 felony.

Additionally, individuals found in breach of this provision may face removal from judicial office. This stringent measure is designed to uphold the integrity of legal proceedings and protect the rights of families navigating the complexities of the CPS system.

4️⃣ Community Engagement and Support: Let us come together as a community to support affected families and advocate for their rights. By sharing stories, raising awareness, and providing assistance, we can build a stronger support network and amplify our collective impact.

Remember, it is crucial to engage in peaceful and constructive dialogue while pursuing reform. By channeling our efforts effectively, we can create a child protection system that truly prioritizes the well-being of children and respects the rights of families.

Take action now! Sign petitions, write to your local representatives, participate in peaceful protests, and spread the word. Together, we can shape a fairer and more just child protection system that respects the dignity and integrity of all families.

Let us put an end to the unjust practices and work towards a brighter future for our children and our communities

We will be hosting a fundraiser to bring lobbyists and PR companies in our efforts to get this to the white house and get reform.
