Stand Against Slaughter of Alaska’s Brown Bears

Stand Against Slaughter of Alaska’s Brown Bears
The Issue
In Alaska, state agents in helicopters chased down and shot more than 100 brown bears, gray wolves and other apex predators.
These wild creatures died to appease hunters, who want more caribou to kill.
This sick killing of wild carnivores is wrong, and it needs to stop. Alaska law requires the killing of top predators. But aerial shooting bears and wolves in the wildest remaining parts of the U.S. is horrific.
States like Alaska are funded by federal tax dollars to manage wildlife in a way that sustains all species.
Please ask the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to disqualify Alaska and other states with harmful predator control programs from receiving federal funding for wildlife management.
