The Issue

The person (unfortunately active volunteer/member of other Hindu Religious Organisations), currently living in western suburb of Sydney, Australia has been continuously engaging in activities from 3 years on Facebook, WhatsApp Status, and Private Messages to Individuals, WhatsApp Groups and other social media platforms that are divisive and harmful to the Sanatana Dharma (Hindu Religious Communities), both in Australia and overseas. Many of us have witnessed how these online posts (on daily basis, by using abuse words and rudely criticising Swaminarayan Bhagwan and his devotees) have caused unrest, misunderstanding, and even hatred among people who have lived in harmony for decades.

The Sanatana Dharma (Swaminarayan Sampraday and all other Hindu Religion Sampraday), known for its peace-loving nature, respect for all religions, culture, and devotional practices, is being prejudicially targeted by this person. Social media should unite us and promote understanding, not become a platform for spreading negativity and division. This person actions go against the values of tolerance and unity that we hold dear in our multicultural society, and it is crucial that we all should stand up and take appropriate action against it rather than being silent and ignoring this serious matter.

The negative impact of these posts has already begun to show, with increasing reports of distress and anxiety among community members. This proactive step is necessary to safeguard the well-being of not just the Hindu Sanatana Dharma (Swaminarayan Community) but also other religious communities and individuals who share similar values and beliefs.

This effort will require a collective push, and we urge the Community Representatives, Religious Institution Trustees/Leaders and Public Figures to speak out and listen to community members for taking appropriate action.

Join us in standing up against hate and division. Let's work together to foster a community filled with respect, understanding, and peace.

SIGN THIS PETITION for taking appropriate action against this person and to demonstrate that we will not tolerate harmful activities that threaten to tear the fabric of our diverse communities apart.

From:

True Sanatani and Devotee of all Hindu Religious Sampraday
