Stand Against Live Animal Exports held a protest outside Perth parliament last Thursday (20/6/24). Maddie and Anna lisa had around 50-60 people come along and support an end to this horror trade. Brad Pettitt (Greens MP) spoke about the industry and why it must end for all animals, not just sheep.
I would like to thank a few people for their input on the day, Maddie, Anna-Lisa, Baco, Kathleen and Amanda. Without Maddie and Anna-Lisa the day wouldn’t have happened, so a massive thank you.
Stand Against Live Animal Exports also did an Awareness Day in Sydney on Saturday, Edith, Maria, Glen, Deb, Jill, Andrew, Luiz, Helen, Michelle and myself braved the rain to raise awareness for the poor animals who are Live Exported.
Luckily we were able to shelter across the road from Town Hall and remain somewhat dry, although a few donned raincoats and umbrellas so they could stand out in the rain with their banners and flyers, we got 26 signatures on paper and I saw a few people who scanned the QR code which automatically signs this petition. Not bad for the horrible weather.
Thank you to the WA and NSW people who helped Stand Against Live Animal Exports.
Again it has been bought to my attention that some people think any money donated via change.org goes to me. This is incorrect, any money you pay to change.org, stays with change.org.
If you plan to donate to Stand Against Live Animal Exports, you MUST contact me first please,
As most of you are aware, I DO NOT ask for donations and definitely do not expect them, however if you are to donate to Stand Against Live Animal Exports - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE contact me via email sunlily36@gmail.com or mobile 0435 798 270.
I am still after numbers for the Canberra bus trip 21/11/24. Please let me know if you plan to be on the bus from Sydney Central Station to Canberra.
I’m willing to pay the $1500 - $2000 so people don’t have to pay, however I need it to be worthwhile. I don’t want to pay all that money for 10 people to go, that’s all the names I have so far. It is an all day trip.
September 14th is the next Awareness Day at Sydney Town Hall. I will look at another date for the NSW Parliament House protest.
