On Saturday the 16/3 around 15-20 people met at Town Hall in Sydney to raise awareness for those animals who are sent offshore for slaughter. What a successful day, we got 77 paper signatures and the online petition rose incredibly from the morning to the afternoon.

Saying that, I’m looking at doing a protest outside the NSW parliament on Thursday the 20th of June instead of going to Canberra. I understand it’s not Federal politics but it still has an impact. If anyone is interested in coming along, Please let me know asap.
I will possibly do Saturday the 22nd of June at Town Hall so it ties in with the NSW parliament day.
As for the Canberra Protest, I’m rescheduling it until Thursday the 21st of November, it won’t be so cold and it will be daylight saving and it gives people plenty of time to plan ahead.
I am hoping to cover the entire cost of the coach, making the trip down and back free for passengers, but I’ll update that once I get the quotes. 
It will be exactly as before, we go to the lodge first, then onto Parliament House and then to the Canberra Airport outlet stores and Costco before heading back to Sydney. 

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider making the effort for this, we need as many people as possible to come along. I don’t care if you have to sell the shopping trip side of it so your family or friends will go…but they will need to be part of the banner hold and chants at the lodge and Parliament House. Yes I will have permits, so it will all be legal.

Glen led our march which we now march up George St from Town Hall and back, this seems to be a better option. The local police were amazing, escorting the march each time. We will march each time if we have enough people. X Lisa
