I sincerely apologise but I’m unable to hold a December Awareness Day. I spoke to quite a few people who attended on the 11/11 and it was suggested I leave December as many would not be able to attend, I am also working a lot between now and Christmas, so I do apologise (especially to the animals).
Thanks to Glen for doing the PA from Martin Place to Town Hall.
On that note though, I’ve planned a march and Awareness Days in Sydney for the 20th of January, 3rd of February and 16th of March but I will post more about that as it comes around.
I know these days work, I’ve received a number of emails from people saying they saw us at Town Hall, they were given a flyer, have signed the petition and asked more people to sign also. I have been flat out since the last Awareness Day but a lot has happened.
(I also want to send out a massive THANK YOU to the people who donated to Stand Against Live Animal Exports, I cannot and never will be able to thank you enough, honestly: Please remember though, I never ask for donations and if you ever give a money to someone to give to me, please let me know) xx
14/11/23 - Emmanuel Exports had all charges against them dropped, many may not remember but in 2019 a young Pakistani man (Faisal) took video footage and photos of sheep cooking internally on the Awassi Express, some of the footage is extremely disturbing, but the WA Agricultural Minister Jackie Jarvis thought it was in the best interests of the public if the charges were dropped….what a load of…….!!
One would think if Emmanuel Exports were found guilty (eye roll) THEY would pay ALL court costs including the massive fines for animal abuse, animal cruelty and neglect and then have their license revoked for 10 years or more…BUT NOPE, Jackie Jarvis thought - ??? Differently!!
* I have been told by so many people that Anthony Albanese MISLED or deliberately LIED about phasing out the Live Sheep Export trade, I had hoped they were going to be proven wrong - but lately I’m sadly wondering if they are right. Such a poor act LABOR, using defenceless animals to get brownie points.
The current polls say Anthony Albanese will be gone come election time, so let’s email him and so him to show some decorum by honouring HIS promise and at the very least phasing out Live Sheep Export, for goodness sake, we are STILL waiting on the phase out report to be released.
What DO we have to do to get Labor to get fair dinkum and do as they stated they would!!
