Well the Perth Awareness Day was a great day by all accounts, around 20 people turned up and handed out a large number of flyers. Anna-Lisa and Alley Renee are looking at doing these days on a monthly basis. I’ll update people when the next one is. THANK YOU to everyone who went along and helped make the day a success, your support for the animals is greatly appreciated.

Regretfully I have decided to cancel the Parliament House, Canberra Awareness Day as there were only 6 other people who could attend.

I think 7 people standing on the lawns of PH with banners etc is not going to have as much impact as it would of if we had a large number of supporters and we could have covered both exits of the lodge, that would be worthwhile.
I just cannot justify spending $1800+ for myself and 6 others to go to Canberra for very little gain.

I have decided to do the December 10 Awareness Day in Sydney and then possibly head to Brisbane in March and hopefully Melbourne in May. I’ll just play it by ear at the moment but as time rolls around, I’ll decide then.
So if you can make the 10th of December from 11:30 - 1:30 it would be greatly appreciated.

** On Friday the 9th of December Susan from Melbourne will be at Town Hall (4-6pm) doing a “Save The Kangaroos” flyer handout, I’ve offered to help and said I’d post it here in case anyone else wanted to come along and lend a hand.

The Live Animal Export trade has not stopped during the Australian winter, cattle have still been shipped, but now this brutal trade is about to go into overdrive with the Live Sheep shipments resuming again. The AL MessilIah is in Fremantle right now, waiting to load those tiny, frightened sheep.
Also Adelaide Against Live Exports reported that the Galloway Express left Port Adelaide on Wednesday evening laden with cattle bound for China

We desperately need to write to Anthony Albanese and Murray Watt to demand they stand by their promise to end live sheep exports. 
If you can, like both Anthony Albanese and Murray Watts Facebook page, the when you type their name on your page, it tags them. So PLEASE do this and post Live Animal Export picqtures and tag these two at least.
