Perth Awareness Day is coming up on the 24th of November, it is being held in Murray St Mall outside City Beach from 11:30 - 1:30. This is not a protest, it’s merely a day to share the truth with the public. You don’t need to know anything about Live Animal Export as the flyers we hand out have information on them. I know many people want to be involved but would prefer to remain in the background, if you’re happy to just hold a banner I know Anna-Lisa and Alley will greatly appreciate all the help they can get.

Canberra 23rd November (Wednesday) - Sadly I have only had 10 people interested in catching the bus to Canberra. Unless I get more people it’s really not a viable option, the cost of the bus is quite expensive, if I get more people and I can reduce the cost per ticket, per person I will arrange it but it is not looking too good. The plan would be for the bus to depart Central Station, Sydney at 6:15am, stop at Sutton Forrest for 1/2 an hour then continue on to Canberra. It would go directly to Parliament House where we would picket line until midday, at midday the bus would transfer the people to Civic Shopping Centre where we would hold an Education/Awareness demonstration until 1:15, the bus would depart Civic shopping centre at 1:45/2:00 pm for the return trip to Sydney. I need to know before the end of September if you want to go, I have to organise the bus, permits for Parliament House and permits for Civic shopping centre
If I cannot get this one organised, I will try again for 2023 when Parliament resumes for the year…
