Another Awareness Day over and it was a wonderful day. Around 20 people came along, Thank You to these beautiful souls, I cannot do it without you. Luisa helped me on the mic this time which was terrific her passion seemed to reach so many people…

I wish I’d had more paper petitions, 77 signatures with many more coming to sign but we’d run out of forms, I’ve printed off 300 for next time so the challenge is there. The online petition grew by close to 400 people, so once again I know these Awareness Days work.

Sometimes on the morning of the Awareness Day I wonder is it all worth it… it’s a massive effort but I KNOW it will all pay off for the animals, I just wish it were sooner, way sooner.

Sadly it is not too long until the live Sheep Exports start again, this adds to the devastation and that helpless feeling. I saw some horrific footage on Monday night, needless to say I had those horrific nightmares again, but thankfully I can wake up from the nightmare, these animals live and die in the nightmare. 

Today I received a reply letter from Murray Watt, he states that they do plan to end live sheep exports and I believe him but it is not soon enough so -  I’m begging that everyone take 5 minutes each week to send an email to Murray Watt (Agriculture Minister), even if you don’t write anything but Stand Against Live Animal Exports or END Live Animal Export, it’s the message that’s needed, they need to know we have not or will not give up.
I regularly tag Murray Watt and Anthony Albanese on FB and comment on their twitter posts with Stand Against Live Animal Exports and a picture, it’s a constant reminder to them.
Please be proactive for the animals..”

Canberra: if anyone is interested in possibly going to Canberra from Sydney on a bus later in the year please contact me for the details, I don’t want to publish them. At this point in time it’s just a thought, not a definite as there are many factors that need to be sorted before it can be a reality..

Brisbane: I’m not too sure I’ll get up there this year, I have so much gear to bring that we have to drive -12 hours one way. I’ll keep you posted.

Sydney is already booked, I booked that Sunday night, the next Sydney Awareness Day is Saturday - 10th of December from 11:30-1:30. It  would be great if we could get 20 or more people at this one, I’m guessing the Town Area will be extremely busy that time of year..

Western Australia  Anna-Lisa is going to start doing Awareness Days hopefully in Murray Street starting next month. These days are not about standing around listening to one of us speak, it’s about handing out pamphlets or even just standing there with a banner. Sorry but I don’t see the point in preaching to the converted, it’s the underwear need to reach. So any Perth people willing to just turn up and hold a banner or wear a Stand Against Live Animal Exports apron and hand out flyers or stickers please contact me as I’m going to buy some more banners for WA but I don’t want to waste money if it is only going to be Anna-Lisa and possibly 1 other person, I already have 4-5 banners in Perth.
