Since their creation Jeep Wranglers have been made with removable doors and tops while still maintaining the safety of their occupants. We as Pennsylvania Jeepers would like to change the law that states that it is illegal to drive on the roads without doors. Jeep Wranglers are designed in a way that the doors are able to be easily removed and installed, while still having things such as deep door sills and seat-belts to keep the occupants and cargo inside. If it is up to motorcyclists to wear helmets, then why should we be forced to keep the doors on the Jeeps. If a motorcyclist has an accident the rider is ejected off of the bike and the bike and rider both become projectiles. However, if a jeep without doors is in an accident all occupants are maintained in their seat by their seat-belts and the safety equipment will still function. Due to seat-belts the driver maintains control of the vehicle. Jeep Wrangler doors clearly state as well that they are merely for protection from the elements. Free The Doors.
