The hill in the student parking lot can be really dangerous depending on the weather. When it's muddy, it is hard to walk up and down the hill without worrying about slipping and falling. I myself have tripped on the hill and it is not fun, especially when it is muddy and the mud gets all over my clothes. During the winter, it turns to choosing between walking in the freezing snow or on the icy road. Addtionally there are parents and other still driving on the road and it feels like a mad run to make it to the building. Having stairs will make it easier to walk up the hill from our cars, and even community members visiting our school will appreciate having stairs to walk up. The stairs don't even need to take up a large amount of space; even a simple staircase that can fit two people at a time will be good!
