The recent termination by Stagecoach of the direct X76 bus service from Cumnock to Glasgow has served to isolate communities throughout East Ayrshire. This leaves the public feeling that profit is being put before their needs and opinions. People now struggle with the commute to/from work, find it near on impossible to access higher education and are restricted in what they can do socially. Furthermore, these communities in East Ayrshire will greatly suffer over time because incoming visitors/trade/businesses/workers are likely to decline due to reduced access. Not everyone can drive/has a car, and the train is a more expensive and less frequent option. Please reinstate the direct bus service from Cumnock to Glasgow (at least in peak times) to help keep East Ayrshire alive and allow residents the opportunity to enjoy life as they should.
