The Charlotte Hall Farmers and Flea Market is slated to become a fast food restaurant and strip mall. As a community we should reject this needless action. The market is culturally, historically, and economically significant to St. Mary’s County. Generations of families have sold and swapped at this location. We should keep business local and stop selling out to large land developers. As concerned patrons, we reject the development plan of the Charlotte Hall Farmers and Flea market.
