Pass Bill #43 to get speed bumps in O'Fallon Park

Pass Bill #43 to get speed bumps in O'Fallon Park

The Issue

The bill that would permit the installation of speed bumps in places where major roads intersect the jogging trail in O'Fallon Park in the 21st Ward, Board Bill #43, was vetoed on July 13th by Mayor Francis Slay. The bill was passed by the board of aldermen before being vetoed.
By signing this petition, I am voicing the opinion that I am deeply disappointed in Mayor Slay's vetoing of the O'Fallon Park speed bump bill. I believe that visitors of O'Fallon Park should have the same protection from traffic as visitors to Tower Grove Park and Forest Park.
I strongly support Board Bill #43 and Alderman Antonio French's proposal to improve O'Fallon Park with speed bumps.
