St John's County has been practicing breed discrimination by not allowing dogs labeled as pit bulls to be adopted from the count shelter. They also do not allow volunteers to interact with dogs labeled as pit bulls. This is a clear violation of Florida statute 767.14 and must be stopped. This impacts the lives of innocent dogs.
