The CAMHS and Mental Health Crisis in St Helens and Knowsley NHS needs urgent review.
The Issue
St Helens CAMHS and Adult Mental Health Services need urgent oversight and review. Between 2016 and 2018, there were 75 suicides in St Helens.
St Helens does not have a CAMHS inpatient provision within the Borough, the nearest being Chester. St Helens CAMHS requires assistance - without an effective CAMHS Service we are creating a Mental Health epidemic for the future.
