Turnitin is an online way to hand in work to be electronically marked. It scans the work submitted to look for similarities in pre-existing work. 

Turnitin has caused many students to be given low grades as its marked inaccurately.

Our main student aim is to get rid of turnitin and bring back teacher hand marking work for better feedback and results.

The way turnitin works has made it harder to receive a higher grade in comparison to the previous hand marked routine that college students are used to.

For most college students, turnitin was first introduced in their last academic year in college which has now made it harder for them to reach their Minimum Target Grades for university! Grade entry requirements for most universities ( especially Russell Group Universities) have been raised- this means its harder to meet the entry boundaries due to candidate competition and course content. 

Submitting work through turnitin is making it harder to get the grades college students deserve!
