Cases have been booked against involved Mayor Majid Hussain by residents in Hyderabad. Former Mayor, who is now a corporator from the GHMC’s Mehdipatnam division has been booked under Sections 447, 504 and 506 of IPC for threatening police and trespassing people's land in the city. The cases have been booked from Banjara Hills Police station.

In our scenario, the area is under Nampally Police Station, hence the case is still not registered as these police officials are under the influence of MIM leaders.
