Sri Lanka is planing to export Torque Marque Monkeys to China. It has been stated by the Chinese government is planing to keep these Monkeys in Zoos. It’s a well known fact about the Chinese consuming monkeys and their Brian’s as a delicacy. All these Monkeys will be undoubtedly slaughtered for consumption.

Toque Marques are in the endangered list. If the export begins  and continue they will be definitely extinct. Our younger generation will never see these Monkeys.

We are demanding the Agricultural Minster Mahinda Ranaweera to not to go ahead with the decision to export Monkeys to China.
Use sterilisation methods to lower the population of Monkeys. Stop invading their forests and habitat to rebuild houses and to stop destroying their lively hoods. Make plans to use the land to share with humans and animals.
