Let's assume that Squarespace is sincere and offer some encouragement to follow through on their promise. Email abuse@squarespace.com and tweet @squarespace today. Here's a sample email: "Squarespace -- I read in this article that you're considering "appropriate methods for enforcing" your rules against hate content.
