Seattle Pacific University’s 2020-2021 school year is currently planning on having a blend between online classes and in-person classes. SPU has created the argument that the online classes we are required to take, offer the same quality of in-person learning. SPU has not offered to lower tuition. COVID-19 has left people with no source of income. Leaving tuition as high as it is, will only hurt students and their families. Other universities around the country are taking steps to reduce tuition for their students. This petition is to demand lower tuition for the 2020-2021 school year due to the lower quality of classes.
