It has recently come to my attention that Springfield Animal control not only has just two employees, but they are not allowed to have fosters or volunteers. I would like to have people sign this petition to show City council that we have a lot of animal lovers in this community that want to help. If they had fosters and volunteers, just imagine how many more animals our community could save! They would have a lot more room to take in animals and a lot more help to play, walk, feed, water, and bathe the animals there. 

I understand that it can be a liability, but they can easily set restrictions on the age of volunteers and have them sign liability waivers, just like other shelters do. This needs to change, they need our help. Please take a moment to sign and share!
