The Issue

CHILDREN OF UGANDA IS THE FEATURED NONPROFIT OF THE WEEK.

THANK YOU, CHANGE.ORG!

This is such an honor for us.  We just created (thanks to the hard-working staff at Change.org) our branded page about 3 1/2 weeks ago.  Thus far, we have raised $1,000 and have recruited 37 supporters without tremendous effort.

Now that we have been chosen as the NPO of the week -- we would like to turn up the volume and recruit as many new friends as possible.

Would you be willing to ask 10 of your friends to become a Children of Uganda supporter? 

If you are so moved ~ please invite 10 (or as many as you like) of your circle of friends to join us. 

Thank you for your consideration.  Get the word out and help us continue to serve Uganda's most vulnerable children.

Blige; John Mayer; a smoky, jazz club, a dry martini and Randy Crawford; Rick Springfield, John Hiatt; Steve Earle; ELO; INXS; Elton John; Elvis; The Supremes; Madonna ; Roseanne Cash; and Mozart; really good chocolate, summertime peaches and nectarines; Washington Redskins (RIP Sean Taylor); Atlanta Braves (we will miss you Andruw); James Dean; fireworks; candles, the smell of vanilla, puppy breath, cat kisses, horses running free, road-tripping in a convertible, laughing til i cry, and the ability to vote.
