This petition is a pledge to Spotify to stop using their service if the Joe Rogan Experience is removed from their platform. This is not a statement of support for any particular view or guest on the show. Rather, it's a statement in support of the JRE podcast and Joe Rogan.

The JRE podcast has hosted the most open, genuine, and broad-ranging discussions in the world over the last several years. From Navy Seals to animal rights activists, JRE has given listeners a chance to peer into the minds and hearts of some amazing people. To attempt to silence this show would be a grave disservice to open-minded listeners as well as a significant financial mistake for Spotify.

Most of the 11 million viewers per episode came to Spotify because of JRE, not the other way around. Spotify has become their primary podcast client because it's the only place to find their favorite podcast. If you remove that, what's keeping them on your service? There's nothing else so popular and unique that we can't get elsewhere.

Now, a lot of pressure is coming from various sources to try to de-platform JRE. To acquiesce to the pressure will not satisfy them and will only result in more calls to remove other "problematic" podcasts. These calls for censorship will never stop until you say "no" to them.

Spotify needs to feel pressure from consumers and fans as well; from those whose opinions don't get plastered all over the news. They need to understand what they stand to lose financially if they cave to the demands of people who have never even listened to JRE. They need to know that we can and will walk away.
