Today, TikTok, a revolutionary platform that allows creators the world over to express themselves, stands at a crucial crossroad. The potential ban has led to an impending buy off in the United States, which could force another owner's agenda, similar to the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and X. In order to circumvent this issue and maintain the impartial nature of TikTok's content, we propose a solution: Spin off TikTok with offices in Singapore, Ireland, and the US. 

This spin-off will serve as an effective countermeasure against undue influence, ensuring that the platform remains a free and accessible space for all creators, unhindered by the biases of a particular owner. Moreover, it will also act as a significant step towards globalizing the influence of TikTok, providing the platform with an independent and rightly pluralistic governance.

Setting up international offices isn't just a guesswork solution. Multiple tech giants, like Google (Source: Bloomberg, 2020) and Twitter (Source: TechCrunch, 2019) have used similar strategies to diversify exposure and ensure a balanced mix of influence and control.

During the spin-off of TikTok, we also call on its Mainland Chinese version Douyin to stay under ByteDance’s control.
