Hi everyone,

Thanks for your support. Between the 2 petitions that I have started more than 50 people have signed so far. Please keep sharing and informing neighbours about this petition. I have been round some of the neighbourhood to tell people and everyone agrees there is a problem. It has been mentioned that this problem is also on Albany Terrace. Feel free to mention this in your comments. Once I have enough signatures it will be sent to councillors and they will see the comments too.

Tomorrow 27th of September at 6pm there is a meeting of the Coldside Community Forum (in the Maxwell Centre next door to St Salvador's church),  that deals with issues in the area and I have been informed that some councillors attend. Myself and 2 neighbours from Dudhope Terrace are going along to talk about this. Anyone can attend this. Please come along if you are free.

One of my neighbours has already contacted councillors about this problem in the past and it was passed to the roads department of the council. They claim they have monitored Dudhope Terrace and that average speeds were around 30-33 miles per hour! This is simply not true. We have not seen any equipment on the road monitoring this!

I know neighbours are afraid to let children go to the play park by themselves due to having to cross the road. Perhaps we need a zebra crossing or traffic lights at the corner of Inverlaw Place?

Thanks once again.
