Subject: Formal Request for Speed Control Measures in Residential Neighborhood

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally request the installation of traffic-calming measures, specifically speed bumps, in my neighborhood located on North Magnolia Drive. This request is being made due to ongoing and increasingly dangerous speeding within this residential area.

Vehicles frequently travel at speeds well above the posted limits, creating a hazardous environment for residents. This is especially concerning given the presence of children, pedestrians, and routine neighborhood activity. The current conditions pose a clear, preventable risk to public safety.

There have been multiple instances of unsafe driving behavior and near incidents that highlight the need for immediate intervention. Without corrective action, it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs.

I respectfully request that the City of Clarksville conduct a traffic assessment of this area and consider the prompt installation of speed bumps or other appropriate traffic-calming measures. I am also submitting a petition with signatures from other residents who share these concerns and support this request.
