The residents of Portola Springs, Brisa and Celeste community have been asking for speed bumps to minimize speeding in residential streets inside the community. HOA has been claiming this is not possible due to OCFA regulations. However, residential streets inside the community are privately owned. This has been confirmed by the City of Irvine. 

HOA has also asked us to just report the wreckless drivers with descriptions of the cars.  With endless revolving doors of rental homes and new tenants and visitors of residents, reporting irresponsible drivers is futile.

Almost every household in our community have little children, which makes safety of our streets a priority. We are tired of excuses and demand for HOA to install speed bumps to deter visitors and irresponsible residents from endangering our children.
