Fairpoint Communications (now Consolidated Communications) has been the sole cable internet provider in our town for over 20 years. And through these years we’ve been provided with sub par internet at high speed prices. Often times the internet will be well below advertised speeds, sometimes in excess of 75% of advertised speed, if it isn’t out of service altogether. When this happens we’ve been met with deaf ears who do little to solve the issues or outright deny the existence of any issues. 

Over the years this only impacted a select few power users. But with the world ever changing, higher speeds are not just a desire, they’re a necessity. More people today, because of these circumstances we find ourselves in with COVID, are required to work from home, school from home, and entertain from home even more.

We need another ISP in town to provide us with modern speed internet so that we can have the capability of doing all of the things that we need to do in this new world we find ourselves in without the worry our current ISP is leaving us in the past.
