I received an email from Jessica Stewart, President and CEO for Special Olympics Ohio because I wrote a 5 page letter to her advocating for the athletes and changes that should be made. Jessica read the letter 5 times, here is what she wrote to me:

Hi Kyle,

I hope all is well with you, and as always, I truly appreciate your voice as an advocate for our athletes.

I received your letter on your suggested changes and want you to know I have read the letter multiple times. You have some valid points and I want you to know I am taking this all into consideration as we plan events and programs moving forward.

I hope you know the outcome of any changes we make are often viewed differently. We have heard from some of our Special Olympics Ohio family that they are happy with the changes, while others are not. With every change, there is always differing opinions, positive and negative, and I trust that you will try to understand.

Thank you again for your feedback. I hope to make this organization stronger and better than ever in 2022 and in the years to come.
