The town of Sparland has gone through some tough times lately. The city council has changed hands several times with some members making mistakes and others trying to do their best. The current mayor and city clerk have taken advantage of this town's disarray and created an atmosphere of unrest and turmoil. On the guise of "fixing" previous administrations' errors, they have only served to create other problems and disturb the peacefulness that once defined our small midwest town. The latest incident of removing St. Jude volunteers from the intersection of town where they have always been welcome before to stand for donations to this great cause proves that they are not aware of the true values of the people of this town and therefore not fit to lead us on the city council. We are asking them to resign immediately.
