In the old Meter Gauge there was a Kollam - Coimbatore - Kollam Daily Express Service was operated. It was having good Patronage. Lot of people were using that Service to go to Palani Temple.

For Gauge Conversion Project, Railway Stopped the above Service. Now Gauge Conversion Project completed, so people in Kerala and Tamilnadu State are anxiously waiting for the Reintroduction of this Kollam - Coimbatore -Kollam Express Service.

So we are here to begin a campaign for getting this very useful Train Service. We request to the Southern Railway, Madurai Railway Division, Trivandrum Railway Division, and the Members of Parliament of the respected Constituencies through this medium.
