We, the supporters of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, in response to a letter by Ms. Maxwell’s attorney, Bobbi Sternheim, dated February 16, 2021 requesting bail for the THIRD time, respectfully ask you to deny same.

In Sternheim's letter stating “Ghislaine Maxwell is not Jeffrey Epstein” we remind the court:

1.    Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile of all time.

2.    There would have been no “Jeffrey Epstein” without the assistance of Ghislaine Maxwell.

a.    Ghislaine Maxwell, as a woman, made minor victims and young women feel a false sense of security as she groomed them for a lifetime of hell.

b.    Ghislaine Maxwell has threatened numerous victims over the course of many years. As such, defendant Maxwell poses substantial bodily and emotional harm to her victims if released.

3.    Ghislaine Maxwell is a flight risk.

a.    There is no doubt in our minds that Ghislaine Maxwell will flee the United States should bail be granted.

b.    An example is Ms. Maxwell’s “spokesperson” and “family friend” of many years Laura Goldman.

                                               i.     Commencing in 1994 until 2002 Goldman engaged in a lengthy campaign of harassment, threats and extortion against a former lover and members of his family (including his minor child).

                                              ii.     An arrest warrant was issued. Goldman fled to Israel becoming a “fugitive”.

                                            iii.     In 2009, after nine years, the United States managed to extradite Goldman.

c.     Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, was given a hero’s funeral and is a beloved figure in Israel.

d.    As his daughter, Israel will undoubtedly protect Ms. Maxwell even more than they protected her long-time family friend and spokesperson Ms. Goldman.

The citizens of the world are closely watching this case, as are Ms. Maxwell’s many victims whose lives remain shattered.

We remain outraged at the leniency given to Jeffrey Epstein via the Non-Prosecution Agreement and mock jail sentence. We remain outraged that Ghislaine Maxwell has been afforded the luxury of living her life uninterrupted while her victims suffered in hiding.

Based on all of the above, we urge the court deny bail, for the third time, in the matter of Ghislaine Maxwell.
