3 local councils use cleadon kennels for stray animals.After years + years of horror storys regarding these kennels I think it's time us dog lovers pulled together + started making a stand for these helpless dogs.We have all heard storys of dogs dying of parvo,these kennels have a constant battle with it + can't seem to get rid of it,lost pets who spend unnecessary nights in cleadon as they don't have a out of hours scanner to scan for microchips,why,well I'm presuming it's because scanning a pet would get it straight back home + why should the dog be took home when it can spend a night in kennels at an expensive cost for the worried owner the next day...+ endless other horror storys which can't all be wrote as there are far to many.These kennels are used based on the cheapness,25%quality 75%charge,say no more...there are 3 other kennels who would happily take on the contract with 100% better conditions + an actual love for the dogs,we need to be these dogs voices,cleadon kennels must have their contract took of them,money should never come above the quality of a life,dogs lives matter to.To add to this in feb 2017 a dog who was took to these kennels with clear visable signs on pyometre was left untill her 7 days where up before any treatment,kennels where contacted by a greyhound rescue who where willing to help out this dog during her time but their offer of help fell on deaf ears.After she had "served her time" the dog in question who must have been in severe pain + was no doubt suffering greatly was took to recieve help by a rescue but unfortunately it was to late + she passed away...Cleadon have FREE vouchers to spay/neuter any animal under their care but quite clearly chose to ignore this poor girls suffering...we need to be her voice,how many more have they done this to? How many other dogs have suffered in their care,i really do dread to think!
