Save David Lorenz Disc Golf Course!

Save David Lorenz Disc Golf Course!

The Issue

Recently, South Suburban Parks and Recreation decided to post on the local Disc Golf board at David Lorenz that the park is anticipated to be relocated if new land is found. David Lorenz was a suppose to be a temporary disc golf course. However, being a frequent user of this park and living in the Highlands Ranch/Littleton/Lone Tree area for over 15 years, this park has been present for the as long as I can remember. This recreation area is far more then just playing disc golf. For some it's getting outside, spending time with friends and family, having fun, enjoying your hobby, stress relief and even therapy. The closest 18 hole disc golf course that is available to public is located in Greenwood Village. It is an unfortunate matter to loose a recreation area of many uses without putting up a fight for something we love so much. On behalf of an active member of the Disc Golf Community, I myself and others i'm sure are eager to save this course and do what we can to help secure, maintain and protect the future of this course many of us call home. Please consider signing our petition, to help us save something we love!
